loneliness is a feeling that truly overtakes you, when you're sitting in a bed so many miles away from home - the only one in isolation. when the only thing that seems to be making you smile is a phone call or text message from someone who lives almost three hours away, even that makes you a bit sad.

my feet sink into the sand, natural and slow, as the foam of the waves wash upon me. the sun sets prettily upon the water, reflection upon reflection more evident. it's strange how something so beautiful can scare me so much.
